Hello - Floral frame hand painted 4in square card
Posted on
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card is a very quick and easy one to make but looks quite good (I hope) - if you want to read how it was made see below!
How I made this card:-
- I used Gina K's Obsidian Black ink to stamp the smaller of the flower frames from Thirsty Brush (it doesn't have a name on it I am afraid) directly on to the front of a small white linen effect card. I did this as I wanted it to be slightly fuzzy.
- I then used a mix of Watercolour paints and inks to colour it in - the leaves are coloured using Brea Reese's green inks and Kuretake Gansai Tambi to colour the rest.
- Once it was dry, I then stamped the Hello sentiment (from the Modern Classic Sentiment set designed by Lisa Horton for Creative Expressions) on to some white card (this was pre cut) - I again used the Obsidian Black ink to do this.
- I edged it with a bright blue alcohol marker and stuck it to the centre of the card using a tape pen.
And there you are, a card that you could make several of to give as a gift to someone for Christmas or as lovely Birthday present.
